Hamilton Island images - Catseye Beach, Dolphin Pool and Toucan Tango Restaurant.

360° image of the former dolphin pool next to Toucan Tango Restaurant and Catseye Beach - taken from just in front of the Dolphin Pool across the road from Hamilton Island Reef View Hotel and next to Hamilton Island Beach Club Resort.  Conditions weren't perfect for the photos - ex Cyclone Hamish was hovering about 100km away and had only passed through a day or so previous to the photo.  Normally you could take a photo of crystal clear water ... still, gives you an idea of how nice Hamilton Island can be on a bad day!

If you are flying from Melbourne, Sydney or any other major Australian airports the closest airport to Hamilton Island is in fact Hamilton Island.  Direct flights from most major cities means you can board your plane from home and within a couple of hours be stepping onto Hamilton Island.  Check below on Webjet for flight deals from Quantas, Virgin Blue or Jetstar. Check with Thrifty how little it costs to rent a car if you want to explore Airlie Beach and the surrounding areas, or perhaps take the 5 hours or so drive to visit Mission Beach!!!
